Zachary's Blessing Day

The main reason for our going back home to visit was to have Zachary blessed in my parents ward so that friends and family could all be there. I have to say I was stressing about that day right up until the night before. It turned out to be an amazing day. I felt the spirit so strong throughout the day and feel that many loved ones who have gone beyond the veil were in attendance.

We had so many friends and family show up to support us that day. Some of the Priesthood holders who had gone up to stand in the circle ended up having to sit back down because there just wasn't enough room for everyone. JC gave a beautiful blessing. Later my brother commented that he has never stood in on a baby blessing that he had felt the spirit as strong as he did Zachary's. Like I have mentioned before, I have felt that Zachary has a very mature spirit in this little body and has some very important things that need to be done during his time here on earth. I am also grateful to have married such a valiant man who honors his priesthood. Talk about having a heart so full you could literally burst! I wish I could have taken certain moments of that day and stored them up for later.

After Sacrament meeting JC and I went to help get things set up for the luncheon while everyone else attended the rest of their meetings. We had originally planned to have it in my parents backyard but due to rainy, cold weather my brother and his wife were generous enough to offer their large basement. Thanks again Blake and Bre!!
