We're having a linebacker!!

Today JC took some sick leave so he could attend my scheduled ultrasound. My O.B. has scheduled me to come in twice a week for non-stress testing and ultrasounds to monitor the baby's growth closely until he's born.
Right when the ultrasound tech put the "camera" to my belly he said, "Yep it's definitely a boy and that's not going to change any time soon". JC and I laughed. After a few minutes of taking some measurements he said the baby is head down and he needed to lean me back so that the baby's head would come up and he could measure it better. He leaned me WAY back and I felt like I was sliding out of the chair. I clenched my feet to the table thing and held on! I could see myself sliding all the way out and making a fool out of myself. It was worth it though, he got the measurements he needed. The last measurement he took were of the baby's feet. He said that the baby has big feet and JC and I just laughed again (we both have big feet).
After getting all of his measurements the tech switched over to the 4D ultrasound and the baby's face popped up on the screen. It was so cute!! He looks so much like JC! AND he was sticking his tongue out like JC does when he's concentrating. JC got a big ol' grin on his face when he saw the baby. It was SO cute!
As I mentioned earlier I am now going in twice a week for monitoring because of my diabetes. The tech asked us what we thought that baby weighed. I guessed maybe 3.5 pounds and JC agreed. The tech took some measurements and said that the baby is at 5.5 pounds!! AHHHH!! I am only 32 weeks and 2 days! The tech also checked my cervix and said it should be around 3 CM long. Mine was only measuring 1.8 CM. The O.B. said not to worry but that they will be watching that closely too. The O.B. also said that if I started into labor anytime after 34 weeks that she wasn't going to stop anything. So were crossing our fingers at this point that the baby will at least make it to 37 weeks.
Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. Click on the photos to make them larger. (I labeled the 2nd photos to help make things out for those who can't tell)
