This morning I woke up to JC asking me to drive him to the E.R. He said he was having pretty severe pains the mimicked the pains of his last kidney stone. I guess about a week-and-a-half earlier he had been having some pains but they went away. This morning it had come back and was getting pretty unbearable. I hurried and put some clothes on and left a note for Jill and Gary explaining where we went. After about an hour-and-a-half the E.R. doctor came in and confirmed it was another kidney stone.
After a few more doses of pain meds, we were sent home to fill a prescription of pain killers and to get some sleep while waiting for the stone to pass.
Later this evening, JC informed me that the stone had passed but he was still a little sore. I hate watching him hurt. I'm glad the stone is gone though. Now to add "Visit to the Urologist" to my to-do list for the week.
