Dinnertime in Africa

The night after Blaine got home he made us all a meal that was common in Africa. He made a "stew" that tasted and was he consistency of a spaghetti sauce with vegetables in it. He served it with a separate bowl of steamed potatoes. I asked him how he would like it served and he said, "Families would serve it in two separate bowls and just eat out of it with their hands". I guess this showed family unity. So, we all looked at each other and asked when they had last washed their hands. We all went to various sinks in the house to wash our hands and meet back at the table to experience dinner time in Africa. It was definitely different but to be honest it was pretty good I thought.

I'm so excited Blaine is home! He looks like a man!! I cannot believe how fast time has gone. My mom told me you were in town and I meant to call but I've been feeling kind of crappy the last couple of days. I hope you had a good time being home. Hope you guys are doing great!
