37 weeks (and 1 day)

Well here we are at the point I was told it would be safe for Zachary to be born. I had been nervous since about week 34 that he would come early. Now I worry if he'll EVER come out!! The other day I started contracting really good....and then they went away--story of my life lately. Oh well, I know he'll come when he's ready. He's too much like me when I don't like to get out of a warm bed in the mornings.
It's getting more uncomfortable to walk--correction, waddle because he's down so low. The last time they checked I was still only a "generous 2, and 80% effaced".
The other day I went in for my bi-weekly NST and the Nurse Practitioner did her ultra sound check for the fluid levels. There was a lady training that actually did most of it. While they were scanning for fine movement the NP said, "Oh he's waving his little finger at us!" Right away I said, "please don't let it be his middle finger!" She laughed and said she didn't think so. I would have DIED if he was flipping someone off already.
My mom will be here the evening of the 10th. JC and I are so excited to have family here. I'm excited to have a 24 hour nurse in my home!! I feel bad taking her away from all her responsibilities at home but will forever be in her debt for all her help.
