Gone Fishing!

It has rained pretty much all weekend as well as the last couple days. Hence, we've spent a lot of time indoors. Kai has a feddish with sticks and brings a new one each morning to show me. Yesterday he brought this big long stick that his Mom and Dad told me he loves to go poke in the water in the canal by their house. This morning I got the idea (one that I remember my Grandma Murray doing with us grandkids) to tie a string and make it into a "fising pole".
I found some gift wrapping string and a magnet and tied them on. I printed off some fish, colored them, and cut them out. After his nap I got some nails and taped them to the back of each fish. Then I showed him how to "fish" with it. He LOVED it!!
