This week JC flew out to Chicago for his official interview with the FAA. He was going to be given his tentative offer which would also inform him of where he would be located in Alaska. I didn't sleep much the night before his interview. Come to find out later, he didn't either. Anyway, the morning of his interview I got a quick text that said, "Anchorage. Don't reply back. I'll call when I'm done." Later when he called me he said he happend to see on a list where he was going. He wasn't suppose to see it but did and hurried and sent me a quick text before going into his official interview. After I read the text I closed my phone, shook my fists in excitement, and whispered, "Thank you Heavenly Father!!!"
To say the least I am SO excited to be going to Anchorage. As we have researched more on Anchorage, I feel like I'm planning a 5 year vacation, not a 5 year job transfer.
We've had a lot of love, support, and great advice from family and friends. We are so excited to move but more excited to have you all come visit!!

My sister lives in Eagle River, it's about 30 min outside of Anchorage. It has a pretty large Mormon population and my sis loves it there. I can give you her email or phone # if you want. It would be someone to help show you around and be a familiar face once you get there.
my sister's email is moncur1@juno.com
and I'll let her know to expect an email from you soon.
