Zachary-Month 8

Independence Day!! No you didn't read that wrong and no this post isn't dated incorrectly. This last month with Zachary has been all about wanting to be more independent! He loves doing things on his own. He tried to run the spoon at feeding time, had to hold his own bottles, and decides when he is ready for a not-not the other way around! He's also experiencing some mobility as he is mastering the last details of being a full fledged crawler. At the same time he likes standing (even if he still has to be supported by objects to do so).
We went to a play date where he had his first interaction with a dog. He liked the dog until it started licking his mouth, ha ha! When he interacts with other children he likes to do a lot of observing. I try to get him to interact but he's like me and is a people watcher. I'm sure in all do time he'll not be so shy and will be a social bug!
Zachary continues to reveal more and more of his sweet little personality and it keeps JC and I on our toes trying to keep up with him. We are loving every day as his parents!!

Some of the happenings of month 8 were:
Got second bottom tooth
Starting to get his two top teeth
First Trunk-Or-Treat
First Halloween
First Snowstorm
Crawling better
Plays peek-a-boo
First time smiling at a stranger
