September 30th was my Grandpa Munns' birthday. He passed away back in March and we've all missed him so much. On the day of his actual birthday Mom and I went up and had lunch with Grandma. Afterward we went and bought some stuff to decorate his grave, got each of us a YUMMY cupcake, and went out to the cemetery to his grave. There we decorated his grave, lit candles on our cupcakes, and sang happy birthday to him.
The following Sunday all the extended family was able to be in town. We had the usual family birthday dinner and then everyone went out to the cemetery again. This time we all stood in a circle around his grave, sang happy birthday, and then let go of balloons. It was a rainy day but after a few tears and hugs we could feel he was there.
We love you Grandpa!! We look forward to being with you again!!
