Wedding celebrations!!

After we packed up and said our goodbyes to JC's family, we headed for Fruit Heights where Blaine and Kristin (my little brother and new sister-in-law) were holding the first of two wedding receptions. They were sealed in the Rexburg, ID Temple on December 20th, 2008 but waited until after the holidays to hold their receptions.
I regret not getting any pictures of the reception in Fruit Heights because it was SO beautifully decorated. The only pictures I have are of the Idaho Falls, ID reception.
I have to back up and preface this Idaho Falls reception. I have been told for a long time now that I was meant to be a wedding planner. I love planning events and carrying them out. With Kristin and Blaine's reception we go to help decorate. We had a blast!! My older sister Jill did the flowers, my little sister Jamie made the wedding cake, I did the candy buffet and center pieces, and some friends loaned us a backdrop and sleigh from their family's wedding business. In the foyer, along with the sleigh for gifts, we displayed excerpts from Blaine and Kristin's journals telling their sides of the story as to when they met, fell in love, engaged, and were married. The guests seemed to love it! We got a lot of compliments.
That evening we served various dessert breads, sprite, and hot chocolate. EVERYONE worked together to greet and serve guests that came out on a cold night to support and show love for Blaine and Kristin. Thanks everyone for your help!
