A few posts ago we mentioned that we were going to California so that JC could take a test with the FAA to become an Air Traffic Controller. We have been waiting with great anticipation for his test results to come.
When JC went to take the test he was told that the way they categorize potential participants is 84 and below is considered "qualified". Those who scored 85 and above were considered "highly qualified". Those taking the test are allotted 8 hours to complete the test. JC finished the test in just over 3.5 hours. For the last week he has been checking his e-mail about every two hours in hopes to get that e-mail with his results. This afternoon he checked again. I happened to be on the phone, ending a conversation, and hanging up when I heard him say, "Well I'm highly qualified".
It took me a minute to realize what he meant and then I started jumping up and down with great excitement asking, "What was your final score?". JC responded with, "I got a 96".
Once again we are so grateful to our parents for helping us get to California and for being our silent cheer leaders. We're excited for what is to come next. We'll keep you posted!!
